Act 1 Scenes 4-5

Prompt A:
In these scenes, the Capulets are throwing an annual party. However, some of the Montagues, including Romeo and his group of close cousins, intend on going to the party, despite how Montagues are not allowed. While Romeo does not wish to partake in the dances that his close friends perform while at the party, he meets Juliet, and all his previous desires for Rosaline begin to fade. Meanwhile, although the Montague boys are masked, Tybalt, a Capulet, easily can see that the masqueraders are Capulets, and nearly starts a fight. However, Lord Capulet sees no intent in the Montagues to cause a commotion, and forces Tybalt to calm down. In the end, Romeo leaves the party, however knowing that the new girl he longs for is possibly the hardest to have a relationship with because he and Juliet's families are bitter enemies.

Prompt  B:
The scene from the ball where Romeo meets Juliet reminds me of the movie Cinderella. Just like the story of Cinderella, Romeo was not allowed to go to the "ball," yet went anyways. There he met Juliet, like Cinderella met the Prince. Then finally, just like Cinderella had to leave the ball, Romeo had to leave in order to not stir up trouble. While Juliet found out Romeo's identity unlike how the prince took a long time to find Cinderella's identity, in both cases, the two pairs of people left each other longing to see each other again.
