PROMPT E
This image hows symbolizes the fact that Juliet was able to continue loving romeo even after he killed Tybalt. Her love for Romeo was able to outweigh the possible hate she would feel because he killed Tybalt.
PROMPT A
Tybalt and a few other Capulets meet Mercutio and Benvolio. Tybalt then kills Mercutio. Romeo decides to avenge Mercutio, and kills Tybalt. When the prince arrives and tries to find out what happened Benvolio tells him what happened. Juilet's nurse breaks the news to Juliet , but miscommunicates it. Juliet initially beliefs that Romeo is dead. After Juliet has understood the nurse tells her that she thinks that romeo is at friar Laurence's cellar.
I think that your picture is very accurate but we don't know how much Juliet really liked Tybalt. It is possible that she was glad that he was dead or that it didn't have a really big impact on her. Even though in this particular situation love outweighs the hate it does not in other scenes of the book. For example when Romeo killed Tybalt he should love him becuase he has ties to Juliet but he only hated.
ReplyDeleteI like how the image shows how love is more heavy than hate. Even though Romeo had killed Juliet's cousin, she still manages to forgot the hate that she was supponsed to give him. Juliet's love for Romeo was too strong to replace with hate and maybe that's why she got over the fact that he had killed Tybalt.
