Last Night Together
Prompt A: Romeo decides to hide with Friar Laurence. When he finds out that he is banished and exiled from Verona, he is outraged and horrified at the fact that he might not be reunited with Juliet. Romeo needs to see her again. The Nurse shows up at Friar Laurence's cell and tells Romeo he must see Juliet one last time. Friar Laurence tells him to flee to Mantua after meeting with Juliet for the last time. Friar will give him updates about Juliet after he leaves. At the Capulet's house, Juliet is weeping about Tybalt and Romeo. Her dad decides she will marry County Paris the next week. That night, Juliet and Romeo spend the night together (their last). In the morning, Romeo leaves and Juliet's parents then tell her about her marriage to Paris. She refuses, and her parents are in rage. Even the nurse won't help her!! She tells the nurse she agrees and she will go confess to Friar. If Friar cannot help her with this situation, she will resort to suicide.
Prompt E:
How can Juliet just forget/ forgive Romeo for killing Tybalt (her cousin)?
Will she have to eventually marry County Paris?
How does Juliet so quickly jump to the conclusion of suicide if her plans don't work out?
Did Romeo head to Mantua?
Will others find out about them (before their death of course)?
