Act 3 Scenes 3-5

PROMPT F
I believe that the relationship between Juilet and here parents is tense. They both attempt to control major events in her life, such as the wedding. When Juliet disagrees they respond angrily, as did here father in scene 5. There relationship is constantly tense , because they have to force Juliet to do what they want. Although this may have been common at the time Shakespeare may have been commenting on society.

PROMPT C
  1. What should have Juliet done instead of going to the friar?
  2. What do you think Juliet expects the friar to do?
  3. Had the Friar done nothing do you think that Juliet would kill herself?
  4. Why do you think that Lord Capulet was so angry?
  5. If you were Lord Capulet what would you have told Juliet?
