Romeo: I can't let Mercutio go down like this Tybalt will pay for this with his life. I can't believe I just killed Tybalt but he deserved this I will never Mercutio. If Tybalt didn't exist Mercutio would still be alive and I would be able to see my Juliet. Thank God that the prince pities me and I will not get executed my punishment to move to Verona is still grave. Oh how will I ever see my sweet Juliet again if I cannot even set foot in Verona. I must find a way to see Juliet and deliver the news. We can run away together start all over without rivalry and start a family. I miss her so much...

In this scene Romeo kills Tybalt to revenge Mercuctio his cousin and best friend. Judging by his facial expression he is intensely angered and ready for revenge. He doesn't need to think twice about killing Tybalt even though he should've but how could he.
