I chose this picture to represent the potion given to Juliet by the Friar. This potion will make her stop breathing, no pulse, turn pale, and act dead for 24 full hours. At the strike of the 24th hour she will awake. The plan being with Romeo waiting by her side. For her to be with Romeo for the rest of her life without having to marry Paris. She can live a happy merrily life with her lord Romeo.
To answer your first question, i don't really think that suicide was Juliet's first thought because the potion only made her seem dead but really wasn't, And i really like your picture of the potion.
ReplyDeleteI think Juliet's first thought is sucide because she's like if I can't be with muy one true love then whats the point.I don't see any other reason to live if I can't be truly happy.
