Act 3 Scene 3-5

Prompt D

Act 3 Scene 3-5

I like the line " If all else fail, myself have power to die." This line shows how desperate Juliet is. She really can not do anything to avoid marrying Count Paris, except suicide. She really has her heart set on Romeo, and the news of her marring Paris really devastated her.

Prompt C

Is Romeo banished for life ?
What will Juliet do ?
How will Romeo react to the news that Juliet is getting married ?
Why is everyone against Juliet ?
Is marrying Count Paris really that bad ?

  1. I agree with you that Juliet is really desparete but i dont agree with you that she had no other way out. She had many other choices that werent suicide but she just felt like she didnt because she was being rash. If she had more time i think it wouldnt have ended up with so much death.
