The relationship between Romeo and Juliet is quite like one between friends that which their parents hate each other. At first sight they are awestruck by each other, claiming in love at first sight. But as they soon realize, they can not be with each other because of their families feuds. But they keep trying, because they truly believe that they love each other. They sneak around their family and try to make things work.
I like the picture that you chose. Its exactly like Romeo and Juliet both reaching out for each other can cannot reach because of the family feud.
