Act I scene I-III

Prompt A: The Montagues and the Capulets get into a street fight. The fight is broken up by the ruler of Verona, who then threatens them with death if they fight again. Romeo talks about how heart broken he is about Rosaline not loving him back to his cousin Benvolio. Paris wants to marry Juliet and declares this to her parents who then invite him to their party. The servant to whom is given the guest list can't read it so he asks Romeo and his cousin to help. Romeo reads it and realizes that Rosaline is on it so he decides to go to the party. Romeo wants to Rosaline there and Benvolio thinks it will be a good oportunity for Romeo to find other love. Juliet's mother tells her about Paris' marriage proposal. Juliet then says that she doesn't want to get married but if she ever would she would consider him.

Prompt B:
The relationship that Benvolio and Romeo have remind me of my best friend and I. They are cousins that try to help each other out and care deeply for one another. When Romeo wants to go the party just to see Rosaline, Benvolio respects and supports him. Even though its not the best way to get over a girl. Romeo should go to the party and see that she truly doesn't love him back. Benvolio wants to go to, so that Romeo can find someone else to love and helps him go. Which is exactly what a true best friend would do.
